IP Communications While USB Attached

If you are using the CTA-LTEM1 in a lab environment and are directly connected to the device's USB port from a Windows workstation, you may need to go into Windows Device Manager and disable the network interface for the CTA's BG96 module that Windows may have created automatically.  If Windows creates the network interface (and it remains enabled), Windows and the CTA's cellular module will get into a IP routing loop.  The loop prevents the CTA from correctly processing TCP, UDP, or any IP based service.

To correct the issue, simply start Windows Device Manager >> Network Adapters, locate the Quectel BG96 network interface and then Disable device for the CTA connection.  Over-time the enumeration of the USB interfaces may require this step to be repeated.
